the way she tells it. . .

Sorry, this is a bit long...but holy cow, the girl can talk! She obviously had a great time. And for the record...she never tells me how clean MY house is!

preschool yesterday

What a great day we had today!! We learned all about fruits and vegetables. As always we all loved the welcome song - what beautiful (and handsome) smiles we all have. We really enjoyed feeling in the bag and guessing which fruit was in there. And thanks to Miss Missy we were able to take a field trip out to the wonderful garden and explore the different plants. we even tasted some herbs and got to pick our own tomatoes. When we read stories about plants we learned how very important they are in our lives and we also pretended to plant our own seeds and grow our garden. For snacks we were able to try different kinds of fruit and Miss Liz even made fruit and vegetable memory - we sure loved to play this and earn treats!! Quinn knew the tricky ones that we couldn't figure out :) Here is a link to make our own fruit and veggie memory http://www.scribd.com/doc/15675124/Fruit-and-Vegetable-Matching-Cards We also learned about the number seven and a little about the letter "G" Did you like my glitter? With Miss Lizs' help we made yummy vegetable soup for lunch which was topped off with Papa John's breadsticks and gorilla poops (chocolate no bake cookies) Yummmm Were you able to figure out my puzzle I made? We didn't quite get to painting with celery stalks but it sure sounds fun could we try that at home? Thanks for taking me to preschool yesterday!!!

Families, F, 6

Hi Mom and Dad,
Today at preschool we had circle time. Read some books about families. Practiced the number 6 in our workbooks and found it on the calendar. For snack we found fruit snacks that had fairies, and flowers and put them together. Then we put 6 fruit snacks in a group and ate them. We enjoyed playing outside. Mia was definitely fun to play with today. We saw where the hens lay their eggs. We made coupon books of nice things we will do for our family members because we love them. Check my backpack to remind me. We colored some paper dolls for family but one person wanted to go out and play so we finished quickly. For lunch we had tuna salad sandwiches like Miss Yolanda's Grandma Gardner makes it, apples, and granola bars. Oh, yes, we looked at pictures of our grandparents. It was really fun to see pictures and tell about our grandparents. We also practiced doing head stands a little because Miss Yolanda's father taught her and she wants to teach us. That's what families and friends do they help each other and teach each other. Thank you for letting me come to preschool.

On Monday we practiced the letter F. Read Stories, made marshmallow families. Here are some pictures. Love ME

Gluing elbow macaroni to the letter Ee
Storytime in the blanket hut
Motorhome tour!Making bird nests
Music time!

Today wrapped up our segment on houses! After talking about different kinds of homes, we had fun touring a real motorhome and making edible bird nests. I think the highlight for everyone was our music time, though! Sorry for the blurry pics...I had the wrong filter on my camera today!
